Opportunities

in the Anxiety Lab

The Anxiety Lab is an active research lab working with researchers, clinicians, and undergraduate and graduate students across Canada and internationally. With a multitude of ongoing research projects, our lab values the insight and participation of students interested in increasing access to evidence-based prevention and intervention approaches for anxiety and related disorders. We are excited to connect and collaborate with students and work towards our shared goals.

Honours Students

Dr. Olthuis and her graduate students regularly supervise Honours students. Students applying to the Honours program must submit an application to the Department of Psychology. Interested students should wait to receive permission from the Honours Coordinator before contacting j.olthuis@unb.ca to discuss supervision. More information about the Honours program can be found on UNB’s website.

Graduate Students

Dr. Olthuis supervises students in the Clinical and Experimental Psychology MA/PhD programs at UNB. Interested students are welcome to contact j.olthuis@unb.ca with inquiries about supervision availability. Please note that both programs have a rigorous application process, however, your application would be reviewed thoroughly as part of that process and admissions decisions to both programs are made by committee. More information about the graduate programs can be found on UNB’s website.

Please check back in the fall to see if Dr. Olthuis will be accepting graduate student applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.
