Anxiety Lab

Welcome to the Anxiety Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick. Since 2016, our lab has been working to improve mental health through innovative, evidence-based research. Our team is dedicated to increasing access to effective mental health supports for Canadians by studying new treatment approaches, including exercise-based interventions and accessible online mental health programs.

Future Researchers and Clinicians

The Anxiety Lab is committed to fostering the next generation of researchers and clinicians by offering hands-on research experience, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to innovative projects. Meet our current team members and lab alumni!

Our Commitment to Research

The Anxiety Lab uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to develop evidence-based solutions that support the well-being and quality of life of individuals and communities affected by anxiety and related conditions, including depression and posttraumatic stress. We are committed to knowledge translation and believe that research should extend beyond academia. By sharing our findings in clear and meaningful ways, we aim to inform practice, policy, and public understanding.
